MA Arts, Health and Wellbeing Grad show. Last night as part of the open day for the MA we were able to exhibit our work. Here is a snap shot of the evening. It was lovely to see @heloisegodfrey and @heatherwinterparnell there.

Here is a glimpse of my last project as part of my MA Arts, Health and Wellbeing course in USW. Focusing on the care staff at @ty_hafan, I facilitated a project over the month of February.

The project provided many opportunities for the care staff to engage in the simple and short textile-based activities, as a way to support their wellbeing and the challenges they face throughout their day.

The teaching weekend in uni for my Ma I led a student led workshop - textile techniques.

Trying out different textile techniques on my fellow year 2 MA Art, health and wellbeing students, to see what will help to support carers staff at Ty Hafan.

As part of my MA Art, health and wellbeing, I completed this project in the summer called Finding the Gold.
Finding the Gold are those small and meaningful moments in your everyday life. The project provided a creative space to support the wellbeing of carers for children with life limiting illnesses.
I was able to do this in Ty Hafan and I am so grateful for the participants and how the practice of slow stitch gave opportunities for reflection, connection and creative expression.

A great few days at @wahwncymru @weaveconference.
So much to learn and it was great to hear such inspiring art, health and wellbeing experiences. Arts in health is such an important sector.

I loved hearing about @dukealdurham, @bea_shantifa_music and @soundslikewill lived experiences and how they were inspired to help others from them, they were so inspiring.

@thaniaacaron @thebodyhotel for the great movement sessions.

@heledd_plaid for her work in the cause and sir michael marmott for his inspiring words.
